Long Look Garden

When the City of Des Moines set out to rebuild bridges over the Des Moines River, officials knew that also meant redesigning a stretch of the downtown riverwalk. The Perficut team stepped in to bring that vision to life and help reconstruct the landscaping along the riverfront Long Look Garden.

While the project brought unique challenges like a steep hillside and multi-phase construction, the Perficut team collaborated with the city to effectively and efficiently beautify the riverfront. The team chose shrubs that compliment the area’s topography and installed most of the plants by hand because of the steep riverbank.
